When it comes to citizenship issues Paralegals are restricted to only practice in the initial stages of applying for and advocating for negated citizenship applications or, in a more serious case, its revocation. Thus, paralegals cannot represent clients in their appeals to Citizenship Judges or to higher courts, like the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.
