We advocate for you

In citizenship law, as well as in family and criminal law, a negative outcome of a proceeding can severely affect people’s futures and those of their entire families.

Like in family law, or in a failed refugee appeal, or in a poorly defended criminal matter, where a winning case may assign the custody of a child to the wrong party; may result in the deportation of appellants and their entire families; or incarceration may be the result in a tried criminal case, respectively, citizenship law may have disastrous outcomes that may trickle down and affect your family.

When it comes to citizenship issues Paralegals are restricted to only practice in the initial stages of applying for and advocating for negated citizenship applications or, in a more serious case, its revocation. Thus, paralegals cannot represent clients in their appeals to Citizenship Judges or to higher courts, like the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada. This is where I can assist you as a full fledged Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, not hindered by these restrictions.

These cases are reserved for full fledged RCICs, lawyers, and especially Immigration lawyers at that. This is because it takes many more years of education and training to represent clients before the higher courts, which paralegals generally don’t have due to their short periods of study.

Call us if you feel that we may be able to properly represent you in your citizenship case.
